La Hacienda Links Golf Course

La Hacienda Links Golf Resort is an exclusive golf destination offering a 36-hole experience across its two courses, Links and Heathland. The resort is complemented by a recently redesigned driving range, extensive short-game practice areas, and an elegant clubhouse housing a modern pro shop and the Sal Verde restaurant, refurbished and operated by the prestigious Azotea Group.

The Links Course is the only links-style course in southern Spain and one of the most distinctive layouts in European golf. This 18-hole, par-72 course, originally opened in 1992, has been completely redesigned by American architect Kurtis Bowman, transforming it into a modern and sustainable layout aligned with current international golf standards. Its coastal setting provides spectacular views over the Mediterranean, with the Rock of Gibraltar and the north coast of Africa forming a truly iconic backdrop and creating one of the most impressive settings in European golf.

The comprehensive renovation of the new Links has included the reconstruction of all tees, greens and bunkers, together with the strategic redesign of several holes, resulting in a challenging and visually striking course featuring one of the largest total green surfaces in Spain. The experience is further enhanced by the iconic “Calma Bar” Halfway House, awarded World’s Best Halfway House at the World Golf Awards, a unique stop that elevates the round and makes every visit a truly memorable golfing experience.
